Modulated-wave solutions for an anharmonic lattice

Résumé

We investigate spatially localized voltage oscillations in a discrete nonlinear electrical transmission line (NETL) considered in Physics Letters A 380 (2016) 2017-2020. According to an appropriate substitution of the judiciously chosen parameters of the system, the modified extended nonlinear Schrodinger (MENLS) obtained leads to a nonlinear equation of particular class with eight-parameter group and three singular straight lines. By using bifurcation theory of planar dynamical systems and investigating the dynamical behavior, we obtain bifurcations of the phase portraits of the system under different parameter conditions. Additionally to some special level curves and the well-known traveling wave solutions, rich varieties of exotic solutions are determined and their implicit expressions are studied.
